DEXALAN is a POWERFUL Antiinflammatory of Immediate Action and Prolonged Effect.

INDICATIONS:

Indicated for the treatment of inflammatory processes in general in various pathological processes and in various conditions: respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, inflammatory lesions of eyes, ears and skin. Useful in chronic musculoskeletal inflammatory diseases such as Arthritis, Tendinitis, Bursitis; it is also used in various pathologies of the mammary gland; Hypersensitivity processes, including angioneurotic edema, bronchial asthma, insect bites, pharmacological reactions, allergic dermatitis and urticaria. The rapid and early administration of high doses of Dexamethasone may be beneficial in acute circulatory failure or shock, regardless of its cause (traumatic, hypovolemic, hemorrhagic and septic). Due to its gluconeogenic activity, it is important in the treatment of bovine ketosis. Increases resistance to stress situations, such as trauma, illness, fatigue, environmental stress, etc.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:

Intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous.

DOSE:

• Cattle and Equines: 5 - 15 mL
  
• Calves and Foals: 1 - 3 mL
• Sheep, Caprines, Camelids, Swine: 1 - 3 mL
• Canines: 0.1 - 1 mL
• Felines: 0.1 - 0.3 mL
• Birds: 0.05 - 0.1 mL
• Intraarticular route in horses: 1 - 5 mL
• Ketosis pictures: 3 - 20 mL per animal.
