DESCRIPTION

INJECTABLE SOLUTION

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic.

INDICATIONS

In equines it is indicated for the treatment and relief of inflammatory lesions of the locomotor system, myositis, osteitis, arthritis, tendonitis, synovitis. It produces relief of visceral pain associated with the presentation of colic. Indicated also in diarrhea associated with colics in colts, colitis, respiratory diseases, in ophthalmic surgeries and in general (pre and post surgical), post-race treatment.

In pigs for the treatment of the syndrome metritis - mastitis - agalaxia in sows, acute and chronic inflammations of the locomotor system and in cases of diarrhea associated with colic.

In cattle for support treatment in acute infections (particularly in the bovine respiratory complex), diarrhea in calves, acute pain caused by surgery, wounds, locomotor system injuries, pain and inflammation situations, acute coliform mastitis with endotoxic shock .

In dogs for the relief of inflammatory lesions of the locomotor system, myositis, osteitis, arthritis, tendonitis, synovitis, acute pain, including endotoxic shock produced by viral or bacterial infectious processes. Coadjuvant in the treatment of canine parvovirosis, in diarrhea, shock, ophthalmic inflammations, ophthalmic surgery and in general, disc problems, heat stroke.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION

Intravenous in a slow and deep intramuscular form.

COMPOSITION

1 mL contains:

• Flunixin Meglumine 50 mg
  
• Excipients c.s.p. 1 mL

DOSE

• Cattle: 2 mL per 45 kg of p.v. intravenously and can only be applied intramuscularly in case of musculoskeletal disorders, every 24 hours for 3 days.
  
• Swine: 2 mL by 45 kg of p.v. by deep intramuscular route, every 12 hours for 1 to 2 days.
• Horses: 1 mL by 45 kg of p.v. intravenously and can only be applied intramuscularly in case of musculoskeletal disorders, every 12 or 24 hours for 2 to 5 days.
• Canines: 0.1 mL - 0.2 mL per 5 kg of p.v. intravenously and can only be applied intramuscularly in case of musculoskeletal disorders.

* The treatment should not exceed 5 days in any of the target species.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

• Cattle: Meat: 7 days.
  
• Milk: 5 days.
• Swine: Meat: 21 days.
