Last generation non-corticoid anti-inflammatory

COMPOSITION

Each 100 ml contains:

• Meloxicam 2 g
  
• Vehicle c.s.p. 100 ml

THERAPEUTIC ACTION

MELOXISAN® is a non-corticoid anti-inflammatory, with anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic action, being its direct action on the inhibition of the enzyme of prostanglandin synthetase (cyclooxygenase 2).

INDICATIONS OF USE

MELOXISAN® is indicated as a parallel treatment to the antibiotic, in infectious diseases (pneumonia, gastroenteritis, mastitis, pederas, etc.) and for any musculoskeletal inflammation.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

It is recommended to administer intravenously, subcutaneously or intravenously the following doses:

• Cattle and horses: 1 ml / 40 kg of live weight.
  
• Swine and sheep: 1 ml / 50 kg of live weight.

Repeat the dose for 3 consecutive days or as recommended by the Veterinarian.

PRECAUTIONS

• Like any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, it should be administered with caution in animals with renal, cardiac, hepatic and / or gastric ulceration.
  
• It should not be administered in females in the last third of gestation.
• Do not administer in depressed animals.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

Cattle and sheep:

• Meat: 15 days.
  
• Milk: 5 days.

Pigs:

• Meat: 5 days.
  

Horses:

• Meat: 5 days.
  

Milk: Do not use in mares producing milk intended for human consumption.

Presentation:

Bottle for 100 and 250 ml.

KEEP THE PRODUCT OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS.

KEEP THE PRODUCT IN A FRESH AND DRY ENVIRONMENT, BETWEEN 15ºC AND 30ºC.
