Although the Clost. perfringens type B is not a significant problem, immunity is provided by beta-toxoid type C and epsilon toxoid type D.

Dosage

Shake well. Administer aseptically 5 ml subcutaneously preferably in the neck table with a needle of 1/2 to 3/4 inch and No. 16 - 18. Healthy cattle should receive 2 doses administered with a space of 4 to 6 weeks at the 3 -4 months of age. Repeat at weaning (6 - 9 months of age).

It contains formalin as a preservative. As with other vaccines, anaphylaxis may occur after use. An initial epinephrine antithesis is recommended, which should be followed with adequate supportive therapy.
